Rajkot District Swimming Association
Swimmer | Water Polo Player | Swimming Coach
My name is Jogi Mann, and swimming has been an important part of my life since the age of 8. What started as a simple activity soon became my passion and helped shape my character, discipline, and determination.
Over the years, I have developed as both a swimmer and a water polo player. Through consistent training and dedication, I have participated in 6 National Championships, including Junior Water Polo Nationals, Inter Club Under-21 Nationals, and Fin Swimming Nationals. These experiences allowed me to compete against talented athletes from across the country and strengthen my competitive spirit.
Beyond pool competitions, I have also been involved in open-water swimming activities. I successfully completed the 5 km Porbandar Sea Swimming Competition and participated in the Chorvad to Veraval Sea Swimming Camp, gaining valuable experience in endurance swimming and challenging open-water conditions.
For the past 2.5 years, I have been working as a swimming coach, guiding swimmers of different age groups and skill levels. Currently, I also coach competitive swimmers, helping them improve their performance and achieve their goals. Coaching has strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
Swimming has taught me discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and the value of hard work. For me, it is more than just a sport—it is a way of life. My journey continues as I strive to grow as an athlete and coach while inspiring the next generation of swimmers.
